Early Music Summer University in Miercurea Ciuc
In case of instrumental masterclasses, applicants must be at least 10 years old and have previous (musical) experience.
The course fee is 300 RON (65 EUR)/person. This fee entitles the participant to an active attendance of the chosen masterclass and of the optional course(s). In case of applying for two different masterclasses as main courses, the participation fee is 2 × 300 RON. The fee includes the participation in the events of the Early Music Festival.
The participation fee can be paid in advance at the headquarters of Cultural Center of Harghita County (Miercurea Ciuc, 4 Blvd. Timişoarei) or at the location of the Summer University, the Petőfi Sándor Primary School (Miercurea Ciuc, 40 Petőfi Sándor Street)
Tha Active participants are free to enter to the concerts and events of the Early Music Festival.
The price does NOT INCLUDE the costs of the accommodation and the meal.

“With Pipes, Drums, Fiddles” – musical activities for children, with Julcsi Ádám
This year, for the second time, younger children will also have the opportunity to get involved in singing and music-making at the Early Music Summer University. They will have the opportunity to learn children’s songs and tunes related to nature, flora and fauna. We will introduce children to the world of early music through rhythm instruments, recorders and interactive stories. Our activities will be enriched with fun children’s games. We welcome all elementary school children who are at least 6 years old and want to sing, play and make music in the Zengő Tér Cultural Center.
The participation fee is 40 lei/ day, registrations can be made in person at the secretariat of the Cultural Center of Harghita County, on weekdays, between 9 am and 3 pm, or by calling +40 746 244 235. The number of places is limited.
Date 12-14 July 2023, between 10-13.
